Camouflage
Depending on
where you do battle, your character may give you a small advantage.
All characters have the same abilities but those with dark clothing can
blend in with the shadows in certain arenas.
Oddjob
/ Jaws
These are the
only characters with a marked physical advantage or disadvantage.
Oddjob is shorter than most, making him very hard to hit. The taller-than-average
Jaws is a sitting duck in most cases.
Invisible
Oddjob
Choose Oddjob
as your character and go to the archives. Blow up one of the metal
boxes with a gun. If the top of the box is still there, go in the
box, duck, and look down. If this is done correctly, Oddjob cannot
be seen at all ( unless the radar is on ).
Head
Shots
Shots to the
upper body and to the head are much more damaging than shots to other parts
of the body. In fact, a single head shot can be deplete half your
Body Armor or life meter.
Side
Step
Moving targets
are obviously much tougher to hit than stationary ones. Practice
running at angles and shooting at the same time. Try to "lead" your
shots ahead of moving targets.
Guard
The Body Armor
Most levels have
2 sets of body armor and somebody's bound to go for it. Some agents
like to grab it and then wait in the shadows to ambush the next person.
An even better strategy would be to grab it and then leave a mine or three
behind as a surprise present!
Holding
The High Ground
The auto-aim
function works better facing downhill than uphill, so anyone on the high
ground will have the upper hand. Another thing to keep in mind is
that some of the slopes look too steep to climb, but you can actually run
up and down them and actually catch you foes by surprise from behind.
Venting
Your Frustration
One sneaky tactic
is to wait just inside an air vent and snipe at anyone who crosses your
line of sight. You can shot both ways through the grates covering
the vents, but the grate covering the camouflaged alcove is bulletproof
in one direction: you can shoot into it, but you can't shoot out from it!
Use
the "C"
buttons
Using the C buttons
rather than aiming can be of much help sometimes because you can run at
the same time. I use this especially with rockets & grenade launchers,
because you can shoot at your opponents feet, while running backwards.
Hover
Mines???
Go to the Bunker.
Set your mines on each over hanging monitor in the control room, then detonate.
Now you can place your mines in mid air!
More
Hover Mines
Durring any level
with breakable glass, place a mine on the glass and then destroy the glass
with your gun. Now the mine will be floating in mid air
Good
Hidding Places For
Your Mines
Some excelent
places to hide your mines are: on the ceiling, under ramps, on or undr
stairs, under or on doors, on the water, in dark pits, on body armor or
ammo, or in starting positions ( very mean ).
Invisible
Mines
Durring any level
with mines, throw a mine on an item and pick up the item. The mine
is still there, but you can't see it. Now, when an enemy goes to
pick up the item, you can detonate the bomb and your opponent won't know
what hit em.
Teams
Not allways a
good idea unless you are a fugitive. It won't matter who you shoot, but
the other team must watch out for each other ( this can be an advantage
).
Technicolor
Guns??
Turn on paintball
mode, then enter a muliplayer game. Pick up your gun and have someone
shoot it with paint. It looks as if it glows in the dark too!
Bloody
Nothing
After someone
dies, keep shooting where they died, but make sure the person who died
doesn't press start. When you shoot, the bullets make noises as if
the enemy is still there. When the enemy pushes start, he will be
covered with ton of blood!
Clones
If you want to
have 3 players as the same character, here's how: put the game to 4 players.
Player 4 pick Bond. Switch to a 3 player game. Player 3 pick
Bond. Switch to a 2 player game. Player 2 pick Bond.
Switch back to a 4 player game and begin. Now players 2, 3, and 4
will all be Bond... James Bond. This trick works for any character
and will work for a 2 of a kind trick as well.
